Zip Cover + Loose Layers Style

Even though lying down on different mattresses in the showroom is an essential and unskippable part of mattress mattress-buying process, in many cases, it is not enough. For various reasons such as the difference in softness/firmness level between showroom mattresses and the brand new one delivered to you, the amount of time to lay down on mattresses (a few minutes in showroom versus 8 hours in your bedroom), the temperature difference in your bedroom versus our showroom as well as the difference in bed base/frame you have versus the one we have in our showroom, you may find your new purchased mattress in need of some adjustments. So instead of buying a mattress made in the traditional way (where all layers are glued and stitched together which makes any adjustment impossible), we strongly suggest you ask us to make your chosen mattress in the “zip cover + loose layers” style. What does that mean? As the name suggests, it means the layers and components of your mattress are loosely together and wrapped in a modern-style zip cover. So, all layers are accessible and changes could be made in just a minute. This way, in reality, you could get 10 years out of your mattress while the quality, support & comfort levels DO NOT FADE OVER THE YEARS. Below is the list of the most common scenarios in which having access to the components of the mattress becomes handy.

  1. Appearance of body impression on the mattress due to not using the entire surface of the mattress evenly, being overweight, being so active! in the bedroom, or just due to normal wear and tear (it is more common on pocket spring mattresses because springs move individually and only springs under your body are engaged)

  2. Spilling any liquid on the mattress which causes not only ugly stains but also ruins the quality of the materials inside.

  3. Changing the top layer of the mattress to try different types of mattresses such as Gel foam, Copper foam, High-density foam, or the most popular one Latex mattresses.

  4. Any change in your preferred mattress softness/firmness in the long term (I had a firm mattress, now I need a medium or soft mattress or vice versa)

  5. Losing quality due to the normal wear & tear. (by just changing the old component your mattress will become very close to its brand-new condition again)

Disadvantage:

The only disadvantage is that, depending on the material used in your mattress, sometimes when you put your mattress upright, layers may shift a little bit. That is not a big deal and takes no more than 2 minutes to fix. All you need to do is just put your mattress on the bed, unzip the cover, adjust the layers, and then zip it up. That’s it. As long as your mattress is kept flat, layers won’t move anymore. The next time you have to repeat this process would be when you have a house moving and you have to put your mattress upright.
